Somerset’s Special Educational Needs Advisory Services is conducting a performance review. Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCos) and parents/carers who use the SPOT services are encouraged to complete a short survey by Friday 21 May 2021.
The ‘SPOT’ (Sensory, Physical and Occupational Therapy) service is made up of four specialist teams:
1. Hearing Support Team
2. Vision Support Team
3. Physical Impairment and Medical Support Team (PIMS)
4. Occupational Therapy.
The SPOT service aims to support a child and young person’s independence in their educational setting and at home. The team continually strives to evaluate and improve service provision.
