Main News Story

The 'minute of silence' is often used as a mark of solemn respect for tragedy, permitting a shared moment of reflective thought. On Wednesday, April 24 at 14:15 (local time) the Centre for Hearing and Communication would like such a moment to mark International Noise Awareness Day.

This ‘awareness day’ is now in its 24th year and encourages people to consider the bothersome aspects of noise where they work, live, and play, in the hope that improvement might be achieved.
