Summary

The governance board is responsible for the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent. This workshop, led by an experienced Senior Finance Officer, will take Governors through their financial duties and responsibilities and provide them with an invaluable overview of financial management in schools.

​This course is aimed at Governors of maintained schools who serve on a finance committee or with a lead responsibility for finance, new governors as part of an induction process.

This course will be held online on the 13th of May 2021 - 14:00 - 16:00.

This course is delivered using TEAMS. Closer to the date of the course a link will be emailed to you to access the remote training session.
