DfE renewal of Central Licensing Agreement for state-funded schools in England



Published materials like books, magazines, newspapers and digital resources are protected by copyright. The CLA Education Licence and NLA Schools Licence give teachers permission to copy up to 5% from many publications their school owns.

The DfE has renewed the Licences to 2026, meaning that teachers can continue to focus on creating great lessons supported by high calibre resources.
