Stephen Lawrence was murdered in a racist attack in South London on 22nd of April 1993.

Thursday 22 April marks the 28th anniversary of Stephen’s death and ‘Stephen Lawrence Day’, an awareness raising event aimed to inspire a fairer and just society through Stephen’s legacy, engendering equality, diversity and inclusion for young people.
A virtual school assembly focussed on the themes of friendship, respect and difference is being held on Thursday 22 April between 9am and 10am. To register for your school to attend the assembly, which will feature Baroness Doreen Lawrence (Stephen’s mother) and Rt Hon Stuart Lawrence (Stephen’s younger brother), click here.
