Beech Class

Class Teacher: Mrs Bowditch and Mrs Kelly

Weekly Routines

The children have the opportunity to change their home reading books and take an Accelerated Reader quiz  every day. Please encourage your child to do this if you know they need to change their book and are ready to quiz. If your child has read any of their own books at home please use their quiz notebook so they can take a quiz at school.

Home spellings are given out on Fridays and spelling books need to be returned to school by the following Wednesday. Spellings will be taken from the Statutory Year 2 word list from the National Curriculum. Please encourage your child to use the look, cover, write, check sheet that they bring home with their spelling book.

P.E days are Tuesdays and Thursdays, please ensure all items of clothing and shoes are clearly named. Please can girls also bring a hair tie into school so long hair can be put up into a ponytail.
