Welcome to Reckleford Infant and Nursery School

'Reckleford continues to be a GOOD School'  (OFSTED 2017)

We are a small and successful school on the East side of Yeovil,  offering places to children from the age of 2 to 7 years. We offer a safe and happy environment where ever child is valued, their strengths celebrated and their needs understood and supported. We ensure that families feel welcome and are very much a part of their child’s education.

We want every child to be excited by their learning success and proud of their progress. Our aim is to begin every child’s life-long love of learning both inside and outside of the classroom and our highly skilled and experienced staff work hard every day to inspire, challenge and have fun with all our children.

In March 2017 we were, once again, rated as a ‘Good’ school by OFSTED. Our Nursery is led by one of our senior teachers, Helen Swainson, and gives every child a fantastic start in developing all the crucial skills for personal development and school readiness. The Children Centre is on-site and this offers families classes, support, holiday groups and a chance to meet other families in the area. If you haven't visited us yet, please feel free to do so by contacting the office on 01935 475938

With all best wishes
