"Roots To Grow & Wings To Fly"

Thank you for showing an interest in St. Bartholomew’s CE First School.  We are a thriving town school which serves the community of Crewkerne in South Somerset and is proud of its collaborative work with other local schools. Our school caters for children aged between 4 and 9 and our dedicated team of staff provide our children with an exciting education in a safe, happy, caring and stimulating environment in which each child feels secure and valued as an individual.  We endeavour to work closely with our parents and community to create a learning partnership. We hope to provide as much information as possible on our website, but if you have any other questions or queries or would like to find out more about our school then please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Sonia Yorke, Mrs Rachel Shackleford or Mrs Emma Harwood either by telephone on 01460 72829, by e-mail at sch.120@educ.somerset.gov.uk or by visiting us in person. We look forward to sharing our school with you.

Our Christian Values

As a proud Church school, we are rooted in love. We aspire to nurture and help our children flourish as respectful, compassionate citizens who seek to positively contribute to our local community and the world beyond. Our school family role model our Christian values of RESPECT, COMPASSION, TRUST, FORGIVENESS, HOPE and COURAGE.

We strive to help our children experience ‘life in all its fullness’ as expressed in John 10:10.
